These Terms govern your use of QualPal’s website and services.
2) Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.
3) The Service
QualPal provides software tools for qualitative research workflows, including (as applicable) interview collection, transcription, analysis, and report generation. Features may change over time.
Human-driven services: The core Service is software-based and AI-driven. We do not provide human-led research services unless explicitly agreed in writing.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate laws or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Upload unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content.
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities, or bypass access controls.
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
5) Customer content
You retain ownership of content you upload (“Customer Content”). You grant QualPal a limited license to host and process Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You confirm you have the rights and permissions to upload and process Customer Content.

7) Plans, billing, taxes, and Paddle (Merchant of Record)
- Pricing and plan details are provided on our pricing page: pricing
- Merchant of Record: Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for QualPal’s products/services. Your purchase is made from Paddle and the Service is provided/licensed by QualPal.

8) Renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions (if offered) renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation instructions are provided in your billing emails/receipts and/or within the product.

10) Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, outages, and third-party failures may occur.
11) Intellectual property
QualPal and its licensors own the Service and related intellectual property. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
12) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QualPal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, or data. QualPal’s total liability is limited to amounts paid for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Courts of Paris will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
16) Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version and updating the effective date above.
